It's an extra field that I have to keep track of when I'm manually entering stuff. It's not a big deal, but when I'm trying to get songs queue up in a hurry it's a little faster not having to find the right number for each request. And yes, they are automated most of the time.

Does a song that is rejected (during regular listening time) still add weight to that song?

I don't remember at the moment. I believe that they used to, but I've read some stuff recently that said that they shouldn't.
